Displacements; photo prints and card, 2008/09
In my collages I alter everyday perspectives using recognisable snippets of reality to build a new logical unity. The photo prints are used for further displacement with different media, like drawing, painting, and layered collages with paper and cardboard. Merging the world in the image and the real world, I try to pull a transparent, photographic representation out of its context and time-frame and make it more tangible in the present.
