A is not A (2011) - These pieces are based on Leibniz' idea of the monad: a formless substance which makes up the atoms of nature. Each monad is a living mirror of the universe, showing a different perspective on reality and all monads together embody all possible perceptions of the universe. Leibniz' idea is that the action of thinking, feeling and perceiving is created by this simple substance, rather than by the composite.
